Mara (or MJ) is the founder and photographer behind Mara Jade Photography & Events. What began as a love for hosting and capturing meaningful moments has grown into a brand rooted in creativity, connection, and genuine passion for the work she does.
Her photography prioritizes real moments and natural tones, creating images that feel comfortable, genuine, and easy to connect with. With a focus on creative angles and thoughtful framing, Mara captures scenes in a way that feels both intentional and approachable. She stays hands-on throughout the entire process to ensure a seamless experience from start to finish.
In addition to running her own brand, Mara proudly works as a Fan Photographer with Jowdy Photography, where she has been blessed with the opportunity to not only photograph the Dallas Cowboys home games, but Super Bowl LIX and the most recent Super Bowl LX. These high-profile experiences have shaped her technical skill, creative eye, and ability to stay calm, focused, and adaptable in fast-paced, high-pressure environments.
In addition to her photography work, she also works as a Wedding Planner Assistant at Weddings by Vara, gaining invaluable hands-on experience within the wedding industry. Collaborating with a high-end planning team has strengthened her understanding of timelines, logistics, and client expectations, while sharpening her confidence and attention to detail — all of which directly enhance the experience she provides to her photography clients.
Mara believes photography should be more than just beautiful images — it should feel honest, intentional, and a little magical. Whether documenting a major milestone or capturing the quiet, in-between moments that often go unnoticed, her goal is always the same: to make clients feel comfortable, seen, and confident in front of the camera.

CORPORATE
Are they working hard or are they hardly working? We’ll never know but either way we’re happy to see their smiling faces everyday. Casserole (left) oversees all operations with confidence, grace, and just a little bit of sass. As Regional Manager, he ensures everything runs smoothly and that the team stays on schedule — on his terms, of course. While Luna (right) supports the Regional Manager in all day-to-day operations, including supervising snacks, celebrating birthdays, and bringing positive energy to the team. Always ready to help… especially if treats are involved.
Stormi — HR
The backbone of the operation and the true power behind the throne. Stormi takes her role in HR very seriously — suspiciously seriously, some might say. As Chief People Officer (self-appointed, non-negotiable), she is responsible for ensuring workplace morale stays high, mandating cuddle breaks on a schedule only she understands, and conducting performance reviews that consist entirely of slow, judgmental blinks.
Colleagues describe her as a strong communicator — she will tell you exactly what she wants, repeatedly, at 3am, directly into your face. She is an exceptional listener, provided the topic is relevant to her interests, which include: treats, that one spot by the window, and the sound of a can opener from three rooms away.
What truly sets Stormi apart is her commitment to the team. She has never missed a work-from-home day. She shows up for every Zoom call (usually uninvited, always iconic). And she has a gift for knowing exactly when you need a break — and sitting on your keyboard until you take one.
