Booking Terms & Conditions
By placing an order through this website, you acknowledge and agree to the following Booking Terms & Conditions.
- Booking & Availability
Submitting an order and payment through the website constitutes a booking request and does not guarantee that your requested date, time, service, or rental item is available.
All bookings are subject to final availability confirmation by Mara Jade Photography & Events. Availability is dependent upon scheduling, staffing, equipment, rental inventory, event location, and other business or logistical considerations.
After your order is received, Mara Jade Photography & Events will review the requested booking and confirm whether it can be fulfilled.
If Mara Jade Photography & Events is unable to fulfill your booking due to availability or other scheduling limitations, you will be notified and your payment will be refunded.
2. Payment & Pending Confirmation
Payment is collected at the time of checkout. Until availability has been confirmed by Mara Jade Photography & Events and all required agreements have been completed, your booking remains pending and is not considered a confirmed reservation.
You will receive confirmation when your booking has been reviewed and all required conditions have been satisfied.
3. Required Agreements
Certain rentals, services, and packages require the customer to complete and sign one or more additional agreements after checkout.
Depending on the products or services purchased, these may include, but are not limited to:
- Backdrop/Flower Wall Rental Agreement
- Photography Agreement
- Other service- or product-specific agreements applicable to your order
Required agreements will be prepared using the information provided with your order and will identify the specific products, services, event details, and other applicable information related to your booking.
If you have previously completed an applicable agreement with Mara Jade Photography & Events, a new agreement may not be required unless an updated agreement is necessary for your booking.
4. Deadline for Required Agreements
All required agreements must be fully completed and signed within 7 calendar days after the agreement(s) are delivered to you for signature, unless Mara Jade Photography & Events provides a different deadline in writing.
The seven-day period begins when the applicable agreement(s) are sent or otherwise made available to you for signature.
A booking is not considered confirmed until all required agreements have been fully executed.
Failure to complete and sign all required agreements within the applicable deadline may result in the booking being considered void and cancelled, and the date and/or services will no longer be held for you.
Any applicable refund will be processed in accordance with the refund and cancellation terms applicable to your booking.
5. Customer Information
You are responsible for providing accurate and complete information during checkout, including your name, contact information, event date, event time, event location, and any other information requested.
Please review your order and booking information carefully before submitting payment and notify Mara Jade Photography & Events as soon as possible if any information is incorrect.
6. Service-Specific Agreements
By completing checkout, you acknowledge that any applicable service-specific agreement must be reviewed and signed before your booking can be confirmed.
The applicable Backdrop/Flower Wall Rental Agreement, Photography Agreement, or other service-specific agreement contains additional terms governing the applicable rental or service.
7. Changes to Bookings
Requests to change the date, time, location, rental item, package, or services included in a booking are subject to availability and may result in additional charges or other changes to the booking.
No requested change is guaranteed until it has been approved by Mara Jade Photography & Events in writing.
8. Cancellation & Refunds
Customer cancellations, rescheduling requests, refunds, and any applicable fees are governed by the cancellation and refund terms applicable to the booking and/or the applicable service-specific agreement.
If Mara Jade Photography & Events determines that a booking cannot be fulfilled because the requested date or service is unavailable, the customer will be notified and the payment will be refunded as applicable.
9. Agreement to Terms
By checking the box indicating that you have read and agree to these Terms & Conditions and proceeding with checkout, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Booking Terms & Conditions.
You also acknowledge that completion of checkout does not constitute final confirmation of your booking until availability has been confirmed and all required agreements have been fully executed.
